Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Anne Young, Colby, have been set for 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, at the United church of Christ, Colby.  The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, until the time of the service.  Burial will be at the Colby Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Young died Tuesday, June 29, at the Marshfield convalescent center.  She was 77 years old.

Mrs. Young was born Bessie Anne Thygeson.  Following her marriage to Jacob Young, the couple farmed in the town of Hull for many years.  They moved to Colby several years ago when they retired from farming.  She is survived by her husband.  They had no children.
