Mrs. William Jackson is visiting friends in Cottonwood, Minn.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital October 29.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eder attended the funeral of a cousin, Otto Gumz, at Fond du Lac Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Borchert spent the past week at Mankato, Minn., with their son, Don Borchert, and family.
Dr. J. W. Koch and Frank Hunt returned from a hunting trip to Colorado. They bagged a bear, an elk and two mule deer.
Mr. and Mrs. George Kowalk spent Sunday at Elk Mound with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beguhn.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brehm and children, John and Paula, of Griffith, Ind., spent the past week visiting the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Brehm. They returned to Griffith Sunday.
Mrs. Theo Lueloff and daughter, Gertrude, spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Orland Lueloff at Sharon, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Fielder at Elmhurst, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kemper at Evanston.
Word has been received by Mrs. John Schneider of the birth of a son, Steven Scott, October 26, to her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Pophal of Wausau. Mrs. Pophal is the former Dolores Schneider.
Mrs. Elsie Heuser, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. John Dittner, and sons of Spencer, autoed to Edgerton where they spent the week-end with the former’s sister, Mrs. Ethel Wood, and her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Boulet and family.
Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Anderson were Mrs. Kate Tieskoetter of Burroak, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Palmer of Decorah, Ia. Sunday afternoon they visited Joe Walter and Francis Elpert at Loyal and Monday they visited with Mrs. Arnold Elpert and Mary, Mrs. Ida Goodwin and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Elpert and family at Unity, Wis.
