Dallmann, Florence (Marriage - 8 June 1940)
Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Lenz are at home to their friends on his farm in the Town of Hull.
Their marriage took place, Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian parsonage at Edgar. Dr. E. L. Hoover read the service at two o’clock.
Miss Florence Dallmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Dallmann, of Edgar, wore for her marriage a floor length gown of white silk net over satin with a lace bolero and a fingertip veil. Her corsage was made of red roses and tulips.
Miss Ruth Dallmann, sister of the bride, in peach lace over satin, and Mrs. Gay Anderson of Abbotsford, sister of the groom, in apricot taffeta, were the bride’s attendants. Both wore a single rose in the hair and white slippers.
Lavern Lenz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lenz of Colby, was attended by his brother, Milton, and brother-in-law, Gay Anderson.
A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate relatives. The home was decorated with bridal wreath and streamers of white, blue, and yellow. A large tiered wedding cake formed the centerpiece of the bridal table.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at Cherokee.
