Evelyn Schlinsog, 88, of Marshfield, formerly of Granton, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009.
Arrangements are pending with the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.

Evelyn Schlinsog, 88, of Marshfield, formerly of Granton, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at the Golden Living Center Three Oaks, Marshfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hewitt. Pastor Dean Pingel will officiate. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Granton at a later date.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
She was born Jan. 21, 1921 in Unity to Hugo and Hulda (Ihlenfeld) Schuette. She was married to Paul G. Schlinsog on Sept. 1, 1945, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Unity, Wis. After their marriage, they farmed in Granton, until retiring in 1982. He preceded her in death Feb. 24, 1996.
She is survived by her son, Darwin (Judy) Schlinsog of Hewitt; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orville (Catherine) Schuette of Curtiss, and Merlin (Florence) Schuette of Marshfield; a sister, Arlene (Calvin) Schulz of Marshfield, and a sister-in-law, Lydia Montgomery of Marshfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Debt Fund, 7735 Yellowstone Drive, Hewitt WI 54441.
