Froeba, Alfred (12 Aug 1902-26 Nov 1966)
Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, at St. John’s
Catholic Church for Albert O. Froeba, 64, of Marshfield who died of a heart
ailment Saturday, November 26. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. N. Schuh officiated and
burial was made in the Gate of Heaven cemetery.
Mr. Froeba was born
August 12, 1902, at Loyal was a graduate of the Loyal High School and the School
of Agriculture at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He was married to the
former Irene Bauer at St. Anthony’s Catholic Chuech, Loyal.
The couple
farmed in the Loyal area until 1944, when they moved to Marshfield. At the time
of his death he was employed at Rollohome.
In addition to his wife he is
survived by three sons and five daughters; a brother; and 22 grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
