Dankemeyer, Fred (07 Dec 1881 – 03 Dec 19660

Fred Dankemeyer Sr., 85, of Marshfield died of complications at the Marshfield Convalescent Center where he had resided since July 14, 1966.

Services were held Monday, December 5, at 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church and burial was made in the Hillside Cemetery.

Mr. Dankemeyer was born in Sheboygan County on December 7, 1881 and at the age of 2 years came to Clark County with his parents where he received is education. His marriage to Minnie Eibergen took place March 28, 1907 at Marshfield.

After their marriage the couple farmed in the town of Fremont until 1919 and then operated a restaurant at Chili for two years before coming to Marshfield.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Howard F. Dankemeyer and Fred Danlemeyer Jr., both of Marshfield; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers and two sisters.
