Barnett, Phyllis M. (Jensen) (20 MAY 1923 - 11 OCT 2013)

Former Gilman resident Phyllis M. Barnett, 90, Sea Tac, Wash., died on Friday, Oct. 11 at Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley.

A visitation was held on Monday, Oct. 14 at Plombon Funeral Chapel in Stanley.

Phyllis M. Barnett, age 90, of Sea Tac, WA; formerly of Gilman, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Ministry Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Stanley.

Phyllis was born May 20, 1923 in Wauwatosa, WI; the daughter of the late Nels & Lavinia
(LaVanay) Jensen.

She grew up in Gilman, graduating from High School, then attending Bates Technical Vocational school to become a licensed practical nurse.

She was united in marriage to Delmar Barnett in Gilman where they resided, raising their
family and farming until 1953 when they moved to Washington and have lived there since.

Phyllis enjoyed being on the farm, and sewing and reading when she had her eye sight.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Ron Barnett and Stephen (Joan) Barnett both of Sea Tac, WA; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,
husband, Delmar, son, Gary, brothers, Clair, Floyd, Vernon & Glen Jensen.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley.
