Karaba, Donna Jean (14 May 1952 - 15 Feb. 2009)

KAMIAH, Idaho -- Donna Jean Karaba, 56, Kamiah, Idaho, formerly of Owen, passed away Feb. 15, 2009, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Lewiston, Idaho.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee. Remembrance service will follow family burial at a later date.

Donna was born May 14, 1952, to Joseph and Shirley Karaba in Milwaukee and grew up in Owen.

Survivors include her significant other, Woodrow "Lavelle" Weddle of Kamiah, Idaho; children, Tonya (Justin) Rein of Rochester, Minn, Tiffany Larson of Eau Claire, Christian Jungerburg of Sarasota, Fla., and Tarina (Jesse) Allard of Stanley; and nine grandchildren.

She is further survived by three brothers and six sisters, Rod (Pat) Karaba of Rhinelander, Bonnie (Larry) Rasmussen of Marshfield, Joan (Mitch) Karaba-Zegers of Marshfield, Sharon (Lenny) Baures of Greenwood, Tammy Karaba of Curtiss, Peggy (Al) Goerlitz of Withee, Randy (Kris) Karaba of Owen, Jana (Mark) Fortuna of Sparta, Robbie (Marie) Karaba of Thorp; 26 nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Her family will sadly miss her smile, weekly phone calls and conversations.
