Ramer, Michael (11 MAY 1875 - 13 JUL 1950)
Mr. Michael Ramer passed away suddenly at his son’s farm on Thursday morning, July 13, 1950, of a heart attack at the age of 75.
Mike was born in Salzburg, Austria, May 11, 1875. He came to America with his parents in 1882 at the age of 7 and came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1884. In 1910 he was united in marriage with Mary Beller at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp.
To this union were born three children. One child and two step-children preceded him in death. Those living are Bill at home, Mrs. Henry Tiry (Alice) of Stanley, also three step-children, Mrs. John Garry (Anna) of St. Paul, Max Beller of Milwaukee, and Carl Beller of Aberdeen, S.D., and a sister, Mrs. Jake Smith of Thorp.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 17, 1950 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with Rev. A. M. Muckerheide officiating.
Pallbearers were: John Maier, Andrew Haiman, W. A. Wilhelm, Fred Driessen, Gust Yahn and Frank J. Schmidt.
