Bryan, Viola (Marriage - 1950)
Eau Claire is the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Larson following a honeymoon in Illinois. The bride is the former Viola Bryan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bryan, of Neillsville. The groom is the son of Mrs. Rose Larson of Alma Center.
The wedding took place at the Assembly of God Church at Alma Center with the Rev. Nutter officiating at a candlelight service before an altar banked with flowers.
The bride approached the altar on the arm of her father wearing a gown of white satin with a long train and long net veil held in place by white flowers.
Her attendants were her sister, Susanne, who wore pale blue and Marlene Bush, who wore cerise satin.
The flower girls were sisters of the bride, Judy and Jean Bryan. Ethel and Bonnie Hanson and Janice Brager sang.
The groom’s brother, Merlin, of Eau Claire ushered. Refreshments were served after the wedding.
