Schultz, Donald (20 June 1925 - 20 Mar. 1961)

Donald Schultz of Loyal died Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the age of 35 years at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 1. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Green Grove, Rev. H. A. Timmerman officiating and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Schultz was born in Milwaukee on June 20, 1925, and moved to this area with his parents at the age of four years. He attended Oak Grove Graded School and was a graduate of the Unity High School. His marriage to the former Arlyle Sachse took place in the Zion Lutheran Church in Colby, Wisconsin on April 27, 1949. The couple operated his parents’ farm in the town of Beaver, Clark county. He served with the Marine Corps during World War II, from 1944 to 1946, in the Pacific Theater.

He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in South Green Grove, and, at the time of his death, was treasurer of the Oak Grove School.

Surviving are his wife; three children, Dennis, Diane and Donna, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Lorinda Schultz of Loyal; a brother, Howard of West Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Stasenopoulos of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Ruben (Lois) Zimmerman of Loyal. His father preceded him in death in 1947.
