He was born on December 27, 1929 in Abbotsford,
son of the late Otto and Hattie (Taylor) Untiedt. They lived in Fenwood and
moved to Edgar in 1938. He graduated from Edgar High School in 1948, and then
moved to Milwaukee where he worked for the Nash Auto Company.
Norb
joined the United States Navy in 1949, and following his military service, he
worked at his father's feed mill in Edgar. In 1951, he found the love of his
life, Audrey Singstock. They were married on October 6, 1951 at the Green Grove
Lutheran Church, Colby.
Norb was the manager of a feed mill in Merrill
that was owned by his father, Otto, and then returned to Edgar in 1959 to manage
O& H Feed Mill. Following the death of his father, he became co-owner and
manager of the mill. During this time he served as the President and Director of
the IDO Feed & Supply Corporation and also was a Director for the Wisconsin
Feed, Seed & Farm Supply Association. He retired from O&H in 1993.

enjoyed touring with his collection of vintage cars, of which he was a member of
the Wausau Antique Auto Club and the Northern Lakes Region Old Car Club. His
pride and joy was his 1929 Ford Model A. He was also a member of the Veterans of

As a dad, grandpa & great-grandpa, he enjoyed watching the
kids at their sporting events. He always encouraged his kids and grandchildren
to do better and wanted them all to succeed in life.
During the summer
months, Norb enjoyed spending time at the lake cottage. He loved to round-up
family and friends and cruise the lake on his pontoon. In the winter months, he
and Audrey headed to their condo in Mesa, AZ. He enjoyed playing league golf and
was proud of his hole-in-one. On Sunday's, he enjoyed attending church service
at the Village Chapel in Mesa.
Wherever he and Audrey spent their time,
they enjoyed playing cards and entertaining all of their wonderful friends. In
his quiet time, you would find him reading his many newspapers. He truly loved
and cherished his wife of 62 years, Audrey. They had a wonderful lifetime
together.
