Funeral services for Glenn Mund, 57, former Neillsville
resident who died March 13, in Rockford, Ill., where he had resided for over 30
years, are to be held Thursday, March 18, at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral
Home. The Rev. Edwin C. Beversdorf of Rockford is to officiate, with burial to
be made in the Neillsville City
Cemetery. Services for Mr. Mund were also
held Tuesday, March 16, at 3 p.m. from Redeemer Lutheran Church at Rockford, of
which Mr Mund was a member.
Glenn Mund, the son of Elmer and Josephine
(Poppe) Mund, was born March 1, 1914, in Neillsville, where he was educated. He
operated at welding and repair shop here, and had worked in Rockford over 30
years, the past 25 as an employee of the Mattison Machine Shop.
He was
married on June 6, 1942, in Neillsville, to the former Margaret Tramm, who
survives him. Other survivors include a daughter, Kathy, at home; three sons,
Ronald and Steven, both at home, and Eugene, stationed with the Marine Corps at
Cherry Point, N. C.; and one grandchild. He is also survived by a sister, Norma,
Mrs. Harry Swartz of Rockford, and a brother, Lloyd Mund of Beloit.

Funeral services for Glenn L. Mund, 57, former Neillsville resident who died
March 13 in Rockford, Ill., where he lived, were held Thursday, March 18, at
1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin C. Beversdorf of
Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rockford, officiated and burial was made in the
Neillsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Leland Garbisch, Leland
Northup, Wallace M. Browning, Elmer Beyer, Harold Thoma, and Frank Celar. Music
was provided by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

Ronnie Mund, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swartz, Miss Susie Burrus, and Mrs. Louise

Mrs. Elmer Beyer, Nancy and Allen Beyer, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Beyer, and Mrs. and
Mrs. Roger Beyer, all of Wisconsin Rapids; Eugene Mund, stationed with the
Marine Corps at Cherry Point, N. C.; Lloyd Mund, Beloit; Paul Schroeder,
Fridley, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Leland Garbisch and family and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold
Garbisch, Granton; Mr and Mrs. Al Prock, Withee and Mrs. Joe Boe, Spencer.
