Ortmeier, Irene Marriage - 23 Nov. (1940)

The wedding dance for Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Vicansky was held at the Armory, Saturday evening. Mrs. Vicanksy was Irene Ortmeier, Unity route.

Their marriage took place, Saturday afternoon, in the First Evangelical and Reformed church at Colby, Wis. The Rev. S. A. Schmiechen read the marriage service at two o’clock.

The bride was attended by Miss Delorese Schmidt, Colby, as maid of honor.

Emil Vicansky, brother of the groom, Milwaukee, was best man.

Miss Jeanette Olson and Earl Olson, former residents of Abbotsford and cousins of the bride, and a couple from Milwaukee were also in the bridal party.

Little Miss Delores Strade, Colby, was flower girl.

Mr. and Mrs. Vicansky are making their home in Milwaukee where both of them have been employed.
