Saturday, Dec. 3, Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, was the
scene of the wedding of Miss Fern Hardrath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Hardrath, Spencer and Richard Hoeg, Loyal. The Rev. D. T. Pankow officiated at
the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a
gown of white lace, and a crystal crown secured her veil. She carried a bouquet
of yellow roses and white carnations.
The matrn of honor was Mrs. Ronald
Schultz, Unity. She was attired in a light blue taffeta frock and matching
headpiece. Miss Louise Huddle and Mrs. Richard Reed, Marshfield, were
bridesmaids. They had topiaries of tinted blue carnations and asters. Their
dresses were royal blue.
Best man for the groom was David Hoeg, Loyal.
Ronald Schultz, Unity and Richard Hoeg, Marshfield, were groomsmen. Ushers were
Ronald Lupenic, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Archie Schwantes, Spencer.
The brides’ parents home was the scene of the wedding supper followed by a dance
at the municipal hall.
The bride is a 1964 graduate of Spencer High
School, and the groom a 1961 graduate at Wisconsin Dells. Both are employed by
Pathfinder Mobile Homes Inc., Spencer, where the couple is residing.
