Funeral services for Alfred Stark, 54, of Appleton were held on January 20 from the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Stark, of Greenwood. Burial was made in the Forest Hill Cemetery at Braun Settlement.

Mr. Stark was a veteran of World War I and unmarried. He was born at Seymour, May 18, 1896, and lived at Greenwood before going to Appleton.

Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Frank of Seymour, Mrs. Emil (Alma) Doell of Appleton, Mrs. Fred (Elsie) Tiedt of Hortonville, George of Greenwood, and Robert of Granton.
