Pilarski, Edna (5 APR 1873 - 26 DEC 1950)
Mrs. Mike (Edna) Pilarski, 77, who had been ill since suffering from a stroke sixteen years ago, died on Dec. 26, 1950, at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Navarre in the Town of Thorp.
The funeral was held Friday morning, Dec. 29th at 10 o’clock at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, the Rev. Francis Piekarski officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pilarski was born in Poland on April 4, 1873. She arrived in America 58 years ago and resided in the states of Indiana and Illinois before making her home here (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) in 1900.
She leaves to mourn, two daughters, Mary Skwierczynski of Chicago and Mrs. John (Cecelia) Navarre of Thorp; and three sons, Michael, Stanley and Louis, all of St. Paul, and a sister, Mrs. Louis (Katherine) Luty of West Allis, Wis.
Preceding her in death was her husband Mike, who passed away 25 years ago.
Pallbearers were: Frank Borysiak, Stave Jaks, Thomas Chodera, Frank Kowalski, Edward Zaborowski and Andrew Burzynski.
