The training mission is designed to upgrade small unit leadership and individual responsibilities in civil disturbance operations and to improve unit readiness in that area.

Selected guardsmen who attended the 16-hour session last weekend from the Neillsville portion of the 106th Supply and Service Company included CW3 Robert Free, PSG Earl Dayton, PSG Fred Kieser , SSG Chester Diercks, SSG DeWayne Dux, SGT James Foote, SGT Dennis Goeres, SGT Wayne Kuhl, SGT Roger Ingold, SGT David Mayer, SP5 Michael Moline and CPL Charles Hare.

The third phase of instruction will be given to all members of the local Guard unit at the Neillsville Armory on Saturday, April 17.

The specialized program has been authorized in addition to regularly-scheduled assemblies.

Officers of the unit who attended 16 hours of instruction at Camp Douglas on March 6 and 7 were 2LT Ronald K. Lawrence and 2LT Leslie J. Delo.
