Mrs. C. H. Young, 80, died at Lakeland, Fla., on January 19, after a week’s illness.
Mrs. Young the former Viola Smith was born at Dorchester, Wis., on December 12, 1870. She was married to Coral Henry Young on October 10, 1887. Twelve children were born to them, eight of whom survive. The husband, C. H. Young, also survives.

Mr. and Mrs. Young operated a farm in Clark County, Wisconsin, for many years, the farm which Mr. Young’s father had homesteaded. In 1914, because of Mr. Young’s health, the family moved to Lakeland, Fla., where for some years they owned and operated the Orange Hotel.
Funeral services were held at the Free Methodist Church at Lakeland on Monday, January 22. Interment was made at Roselawn Cemetery.
