Berthold, Louise (26 July 1874 - 11 February 1951)
Mrs. Louise Berthold, 76, died at her farm home in the Town of Seif on Sunday. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday from the Georgas Funeral Home at two o’clock with the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating. Burial was made in the Town of Seif Cemetery.
Mrs. Berthold was born on July 26, 1874, in Germany. She came to the United States with her parents, and they located in Milwaukee for a short time, later moving to Chili, where they resided on a farm. She received her education in Germany and in the Chili Schools.
She was married to Herman Berthold at Granton in 1894. They moved on a farm in the Town of Seif that has been her home since 1907.
She is survived by three children, Walter and Eddie at home, and Mrs. Harvey (Minnie) Grap of the Town of Seif, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Degner and Mrs. Anna Jacobson, both of Marshfield.
Her husband preceded her in death on March 9, 1927, as did three sons, Osvin, Morris, and Harry, and one daughter, Mrs. Jason Bostwick; also one brother and one sister.
