Brown, Lydia T. (1928? - 31 JAN 2009)
Lydia T. (nee Hemersbach) Brown, 80, died on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at her home, lovingly cared for to the end by her husband of 60 years, Joseph "Bill" Brown, then greeted with open arms by her son, the Rev. Terry Brown. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at St. Raphael The Archangel Church, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Richard Sklba, the Rev. Mark Molling, The Rev. Vincent Kobida and the Rev. Luis Pacheco-Sanchez. Entombment was at St. Adalberta Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lydia Hemersbach attended school in Greenwood and Marshfield. She married Joseph Brown in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Brown and Michael (Jan) Brown; one daughter, Doreen (Randy) Schwager; five grandchildren, Melissa, Ryan, Katie, Gena, and Stephanie; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Steffen, Frieda Thorson and Angela Merlak; one brother, Wilbert Hemersbach; and many other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, the Rev. Terry Brown; a grandson, Lance Brown; and six brothers, Leonard, Raymond, Henry, Alfons, Linus and Edmund.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
