Pyatt, Beverly Jean (Marriage - 1951)
The First Congregational Church at Owen was the scene of the recent wedding of Miss Beverly Jean Pyatt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. (a line missing) son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Baum of Withee.
The bride wore a gown of white satin fashioned with a Peter Pan collar and inserts of net with satin appliqués in the yoke. Similar inserts decorated the skirt, and her finger-tip veil of illusion, edged with lace, cascaded from her headdress. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations and roses.
Her sister, Miss Darlene Pyatt of Owen, was the bride’s only attendant. She wore pale blue marquisette over taffeta.
Frank Olzewski of Withee was best man and Norman Frederick of Auburndale and Reinhart Rholand of Withee were ushers.
The groom is a graduate of the Withee High School and is a yeoman in the United States Navy. The bride is a graduate of the Owen High School and has been employed as a stenographer with the E. W. Kidd Co.
They will make their home in Norfolk, Va., where the groom is stationed.
