Thompson, Edward (2 June 1873 - 8 Dec. 1940)

Word has been received of the death of Edward Thompson at the home of his sister, Mrs. O. B. Hagen at Wittenberg, Sunday, Dec. 8. He died very unexpectedly during his sleep but had been in poor health for many years.

Edward Thompson, who was born in Stonebank, Wis., June 2, 1873, was the brother of Mrs. Mary Thompson now of Butternut and made his home in Abbotsford with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson, parents of Maurice Thompson, until about nineteen years ago when he moved to Wittenberg.

The funeral services were conducted at Wittenberg, Wednesday, and internment was also made there.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Thompson attended the funeral.
