Capelle, Linda Marie
(Marriage - 3 April 1971)
Miss Linda Marie Capelle of Superior, and a
graduate of Loyal High School, became the bride of Daniel Robert Winslow of
Superior, at a candlelight ceremony Saturday. The Rev. William Humlie of Loyal
officiated at the nuptial ceremony in Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Superior.
Miss Jeanne Noren of Minneapolis accompanied the vocal selections of the
Lutheran Youth Encounter Team of Wisconsin State University - Eau Claire. Miss
Marsha Waterhous, Superior, was the soloist.
The bride chose an empire
floor-length gown of nylon sheer over taffeta with a mandarin neckline and gold
velvet ribbon in lace insertions. Her A-line skirt had a chapel train attached
to the back waistline. She carried a bouquet of daisies and baby’s breath.
Miss Debbie Capelle of Eau Claire was her sister’s maid-of-honor. Miss Nancy
Cole of Superior; and Mrs. Jules Levy of Loyal were bridesmaids. The attendants
were attired in identical floor-length gowns of gold floral and striped nylon
over taffeta, with gold velvet ribbon inserted in mandarin necklines.
Attending the groom were Brian Long of Superior and Jules Levy of Loyal. Ray
Buggart of Superior was the bestman. The bride’s brothers, Larry and David
Capelle of Loyal, ushered. Bob and Rob Winslow were candle lighters.
Following the ceremony a buffet supper and reception were held at Billings Park
Civic Club.
The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Capelle of Rt.
1 Loyal, was graduated from Loyal High School in 1967. She is a senior at
Wisconsin state university - Superior, where she is majoring in physical
education and sociology. The groom is a 1968 graduate of Superior Senior High
School and attended Wisconsin State University - Superior. He is employed in
Superior.
After a brief honeymoon the newlyweds will make their home at
1516 ½ North 4th Street, Superior.
