Steinbach, Phillip
(Chuck) (20 February 1968 - 4 April 1971)
Funeral services for Phillip
(Chuck) Steinbach, three-year-old son of Mrs. Joyce Steinbach of Granton and
Vernon Steinbach of Lodi, were held Wednesday, April 7, at 11 a.m. from Zion
Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. Roland Roehrs officiated and burial was
made in the church cemetery.
Phillip Steinbach, who died early Sunday
afternoon in Marshfield, was born February 20, 1968, in Neillsville. Survivors,
in addition to his parents are three brothers, Gerald, Timothy, and Edward, all
at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Steinbach of Granton and Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Bladl of Green Lake; and his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Jensen of Granton.
Pallbearers were: Robert Reisner, Free Portz, James
Steinbach, and Dale Wesenberg. Organ music was played by Mrs. Lee Garbisch. The
hymns “Jesus Christ, My Sure Defense” and “I Am Jesus’ Little lamb” were sung by
the congregation.
