Scott, Walter (Ordination - 1951)

The Rev. Walter Scott, who has been serving three churches located at Silk, Pleasant View and New Castle, Colo., was ordained on Sunday. The ordination services were conducted by the state superintendent. Rev. Scott has been serving these churches since January 15. Ministers from all denominations were present for the services. The congregation of each church desired to have part in the ordination so the morning services were held at the Pleasant View Church, dinner was served at the Silk Church and the evening services were conducted in the new Castle Church.

Rev. Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Scott of Neillsville and was born and raised in Neillsville.
