Gleason, Henry W. (26 June 1871 - 28 April 1951)
Henry W. Gleason, who made his home with the Art meinholdlt family, died at the Neillsville Hospital on April 28. The body lay in state at the Georgas Funeral Home until time of service. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, May 1, from the town hall in Humbird, Rev. William Koehler officiating, with interment in the Town of Mentor Cemetery.
Mr. Gleason was born June 26, 1871, to George and Elizabeth Hall Gleason in the Town of Mentor. He spent his entire life in Clark County. He attended elementary schools and spent several years farming and also worked in logging camps.
He is survived by the following nieces and nephews - Earl Pierce of Neillsville; Mrs. Alfred Frank, Merrillan; Mrs. Art Meinholdt of Neillsville; Mrs. Tom Finch of Merrillan; Mrs. James Hardwick of Humbird. One sister, Mrs. Dan (Anna) Pierce of Humbird, and one brother, George Gleason of South Dakota, preceded him in death.
