Mrs. Martin Finstad of Altoona announces the marriage of her daughter, Ruth, to Lt. Verland J. Drake of Loyal.

The ceremony took place on Sept. 12 at the Bergstrom Army Air Field chapel, Austin, Tex.

The bride was given in marriage by Mrs. Glen C. Drake of Colfax. Lt. and Mrs. Robert E. Foland of Union Springs, N.Y., were the attendants

The couple will reside in Austin until Lieutenant Drake is assigned to overseas duty as a navigator with the Troop Carrier Command.
