Braun Bernice E. #3 (2 DEC 1944)
Saturday morning, Dec. 2, in St. Anthony’s Catholic church, Miss Bernice E. Braun of Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Braun of route one, Greenwood, exchanged wedding vows with Kenneth M. White, also of Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. James White of Greenwood, route one. The Rev. Aloys Zinthefer officiated, and Mr. and Mrs. John Loos, brother-in-law and sister of the bride; Miss Elaine White, a sister of the groom, and Vincent Braun, a brother of the bride were the attendants.
For her wedding, the bride chose a white satin gown styled with a long train, and her fingertip veil of illusion was caught to a Queen Anne crown of pearls. She carried white roses and pompoms.
Both the matron of honor and the bridesmaid were also attired in white. Mrs. Loos wore a white crepe frock, and Miss White chose white brocaded satin. Bouquets completed their costumes.
Fifty guests were served dinner and supper at the home of the bride’s parents, following the ceremony. In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Silver Dome ballroom near Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. White will make their home at 3230 Seminary avenue, Chicago, where the groom is employed in was work. His bride has also been employed in Chicago for the past three years.
Guests included Jerry Keller and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Moll and daughter, Bernice, of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Geiger and children of Dorchester, and Mrs. William Sanderson of Columbus.
The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
