Easter exercises in the M. E. church were well appreciated by a large attendance.
Gathering trailing arbutus is the amusement of the children at present.
Prof. Edgar had a narrow escape last Saturday by taking iodine by mistake.
School was closed again Wednesday, Mr. Edgar not being able to teach.
W. McLaughlin has a sick horse.
I. P Houghton has bought the Moulston village property.
James Wilson has rented Mrs. Payne's house preparatory to keeping boarders.
Mr. Castner has bought Henry Johnson's village property.
H. L. Johnson and wife and A. W. Hubbell and wife were business visitors at Neillsville Monday.
Rev. A. J. Coram of Augusta, gave a lecture Monday night on "The Greatness of Life," at the M. E. church.
H. A. Schofield, who taught the grammer department last year, called on friends here Monday on his way to the Stevens Point Normal.
A boy arrived at the home of Coley Johnson Friday night. He wants to stay until he is twenty-one.
H. Freeman and family of Fairchild, spent Sunday with his parents at this place.
G. W. Crandell and wife returned Friday from St. Paul.
Mr. Lusk of Hammond, formerly principal of our high school, spent Saturday and Sunday here.
A. Hyuck of Fairchild, spent Sunday with his family here.
Mrs. Grace Houghton spent Saturday and Sunday at Neillsville.
Miss Bertha Waters and Miss La Grave were Black River Falls visitors Saturday.
Mabel Snyder commence teaching in the North school Monday, after a two week's vacation.
