Dan Rausch was among those who went to see the wrestling match at Marshfield last Monday.
This has been a very good year for those who were engaged in the maple syrup and sugar business.
Mrs. Knorr visited at Marshfield the past week.
Some of the young people drove over to York Center last Sunday evening to attend the Epworth League entertainment.
A. L. Snyder and best girl visited in York last Sunday.
Warner Davis has put a new boiler into his planning mill. Warner will never be behind the times.
Our machine men seem to be doing a rushing business.
Wm Campbell and Wm. Fulwiler were over from Wilcox last Sunday.
Eidsvold's Low and Thorp's Nate
Met on the road one day.
Says Nat to Low, What will you take for your trotter, Fanny J?
Says Low to Nate, From you I'll take
the gun you got of Brad.
Says Nate to Low, Call it a trade.
And both were thus made glad.
But now we'll bet, there's one Thorp man
will trade with Low no more.
For the house Nate got in that trade
"Went dead" the day before.
