Washburn (8 April 1971)
Mr. and Mrs. George Miller of Oshkosh were
callers Sunday afternoon at the Oliver Williams home and took William Poler to
Marshfield where they visited Mrs. Poler at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Poler and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kapfer of West Bend and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver
Williams also visited their mother Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Zimmerman
spent the weekend at Edgar with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short
visited Wednesday afternoon at the Charles Havlicek, Sr., home.
John
Boshnych of Chicago who purchased the Mrs. Christ Feutz farm sometime ago was a
Sunday dinner guest of Mrs. Feutz. Mr. Boshnych is employed in Chicago and
doesn’t plan to move onto the farm for some time.
Mrs. Jack Urban and
daughters, Debbie and Brenda, were in Marshfield Saturday and visited her
sister, Mrs. Leland Dopp of Marshfield, a surgical patient at the hospital.
Warren Lincoln arrived home Sunday from Memorial Hospital where he had been
a patient for about 10 days. He is getting along satisfactorily.
Mr. and
Mrs. Peter Misovy and family of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kyle. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kyle and family also were dinner
guests Sunday of his parents.
Mrs. Clarence Reinart called on Mrs. Art
Odell Wednesday evening.
Brenda Urban spent Saturday night with her
cousin, Cheryl Krause at the home of Mrs. Irving Stevens.
Mrs. DeWayne
Mashin and sons of Tomah spent a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver
Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krause and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trachte
attended the Conley-Kurth wedding at the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton
Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Reinart attended an insurance
meeting in Eau Claire Friday.
Myra Junchen of Menasha is spending Easter
vacation with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Junchen. Their
brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Junchen of Sherrard, Ill., are
expected Wednesday to visit at the Junchen home also.
Mr. and Mrs.
Chester Turville visited Friday evening at the Ted Kissling home.
Mrs.
Ron (Buck) Wren and family of West Bend spent the weekend with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Mortenson.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams and Mrs. Chris
Feutz were in Marshfield Wednesdays and called on Mrs. William Poler at the
hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Klauer and Mr. and Mrs. Art Klauer of
Milwaukee called Sunday at the Ted Kissling home. Mrs. Arnold Klauer and Mrs.
Kissling are sisters.
Mrs. Walter Trachte visited Mrs. Frank Short
Friday.
Bible Study will be held at the Donald Lindow home Saturday
evening.
