MEDFORD - Ralph F. Reichert, 95, of Medford, died March 1, 2002 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford. Rev. John Melke, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service, Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford.
Ralph was born October 10, 1906 to Wilhelm and Anna (nee Wunrow) Reichert, in Stratford. He received his education at Stratford Area Schools.
He was married to Gertrude A. Ewald on October 23, 1935 in Unity, Wis. His early years were spent in the Unity area where he worked as a carpenter and a cheesemaker.
He moved to Iowa and was employed as a cheesemaker. In 1945 he moved to Medford and worked as a fieldman, inspecting dairies for the Medford Coop Creamery and later Consolidated Badger. He retired in 1971, and spent his time enjoying fishing, woodworking and snowmobiling.
Ralph is survived by his wife; one daughter, Lynette (Leroy) Jensen of Medford; a half brother, Paul Aschebrock of Colby; a half sister Pearl (Hubert) Koffarnus of Curtiss; a step sister, Helen Zoellner of Stratford; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Hemer Funeral Home of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.
