Jacobs, Eleanor (Ellie) (17 October 1942 - 26 October 2013)

Eleanor (Ellie) Jacobs, 71, of Paw Paw, IL, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2012, at her home from cancer. Ellie was surrounded by her loving family.

Ellie was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Milwaukee to Oscar and Isabelle (Kuester) DeMert. They later moved to Neillsville where Ellie attended school. She had five children. She married her loving husband, Jack Jacobs, in 1982 and moved to Paw Paw, IL. She was a floral designer until her death. She loved to read and belonged to three book clubs and a Bible Study class. She had many, many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky; stepson, Dave; her Mom and Dad; her brother “Buck” and sister Kati.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; her children, Lori, Dayne, JaLayne and Brent; step-children, Ed, Dean, and Mary; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Travis, Ashley, Brianne, Mary, Alli, Jordyn and Cole; three great-grandchildren, Leah, Braden and Johnny, son-in-law, Tom; sister, Karen “Bird” Koepp of Neillsville; and many nieces and nephews.

Ellie will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her so much.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Paw Paw, IL.
