Dallas L. Briggs, 70, Bruce, died at his home Monday morning after a lingering illness.

Dallas LeRoy Briggs, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Briggs, was born at Wonewoc, Wis., Jan. 4, 1881. He lived in the southern part of the state before coming to Bruce in 1903. He made his home there since that time, except for a time from June 1912 to August 1913, when he lived in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
