Fults, Myrtle (1 Jan. 1884 - 4 Sept. 1961)
Mrs. Walter Fults died at her home in Abbotsford early Monday morning at the age of 77 years, a heart attack being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church, Rev. Wallace Smith, pastor of the First Presbyterian church at Edgar, officiating, and burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Myrtle Heagle was born at Seymour on January 1, 1884. She received her education at Thorp and taught school there several years. Her marriage to Walter Fults took place on June 14, 1905 at Stanley. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1955. Mr. Fults died August 16, 1961.
Mrs. Fults was a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Association, the Royal Neighbors of America and the Abbotsford Women’s Club.
Survivors are two sons, Arthur of Colby and James of Stanley, a brother, Royal Heagle of Stanley, eight grand children and 12 great grand children.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, five brothers and three sisters.
