Wischulke, Edward (7 August 1887 - 17 April 1971)

Funeral services for Edward Wischulke, 83, of Rt. 2 Granton, who was dead on arrival Saturday morning, April 17, at Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday, April 20, at 2 p.m. in Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant. The Rev. Daniel Litzer of Calvary Lutheran Church of Neillsville officiated and interment was made in the Zion Cemetery. The Gilbertson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Wischulke was born August 7, 1887, in the Town of Lynn, where he received his education and farmed during his life time. His marriage to the former Emma Porath took place in the Town of Lynn on June 10, 1908. Mrs. Wischulke preceded her husband in death on September 4, 1967. Mr. Wischulke was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant.

Survivors include two children, Wilbert Wischulke of Granton and Mrs. Louis (Irma) Riedel of Granton; one sister, Mrs. Clara Moldenhauer of Granton; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were Harold Beilke, Norman Beilke, Louis Breseman, Ervin Krause, Victor Porath, and Arnold Nitschke. Mrs. Fred Blaskowski played the organ and the congregation sang appropriate hymns.
