Lewin, Mary Helen (Marriage - 17
April1971)
Miss Mary Helen Lewin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Lewin
of Rt. 2 Spencer and Ferris Lee Watson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Watson of
Gar lend, Tex., repeated wedding vows Saturday, April 17 at 8 p.m. in Christ
Lutheran Church at Chili. The Rev. Roland Roehrs was the officiating clergyman
at the double-ring candlelight ceremony performed before 100 guests.
The
bride wore a white crepe, floor-length empire gown accented with lace as she was
given in marriage by her father. She carried a colonial arrangement of spring
flowers.
Maid-of-honor Patricia Lewin, Omaha, Nebr., and bridesmaid
Barbara Gregorich, Marshfield, wore floor-length, lavender flower-printed gowns
and carried matching flower-printed parasols.
Bestman was Duane Watson of
Austin, Tex. Howard Watson of Garland, Tex., served as groomsman. Ushers were
Fred W. Lewin, Jr., and Herman Seebandt.
Organ music was provided by
Mrs. Harold Montag, with Mrs. Russell Lang as soloist.
A reception for
100 guests was held at the Village Plaza in Spencer.
The bride, a 1966
graduate of Loyal High School, is employed in Marshfield. The groom is a 1962
graduate of Garland (Tex.) High School and also attended Eau Claire State
University. He is engaged in farming and is employed in Greenwood as well. The
couple will live on Rt. 1 Greenwood.
