Reshel, Gloria Jean (Marriage - 17 April 1971)

Miss Gloria Jean Reshel, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Reshel of City Pont Star Route, Pittsville, and Harvey Edwin Wesenberg, son of Mrs. Vera Wesenberg of Rt. 2 Granton were married Saturday, April 17, at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church at Granton. The double ring ceremony was performed before 158 guests by the Rev. Roland Roehrs.

The bride, who wore a white sheath-style gown for her wedding, chose carnations and roses as her flowers. Honor attendant Bonnie Reshel and bridesmaid Cathy Peaslee wore blue gowns and carried mixed bouquets.

Brian Reshel was best man; groomsman was Harlan Sternitzky. Ushers were Byron Jepson and Norman Wesenberg.

A reception for 200 guests was held at Anderson’s Hall in Chili.

The newlyweds are living at Rt. 2 Granton, where the groom is engaged in farming.
