Pietrzak, Hattie (21 JUL 1951)

Miss Hattie Pietrzak, daughter of Mrs. Frances Pietrzak, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of LaVerne Neisius, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Neisius, Thorp, in a ceremony performed by Rev. F. Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Church, Thorp, at 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, July 21, 1951.

The bride wore a gown of marquisette with a laced bodice followed by a long train of marquisette with a wide trim. Her fingertip veil was of imported lace from Paris with a wide pearled crown and she carried a bouquet of baby breath and stephanotis with a deep orchid in the center.

An orchid taffeta with a marquisette trim fashioned the gown worn by Juliana Neisius serving as frist bridesmaid. As maid of honor, Lillian Pietrzak wore a Nile green gown of taffeta and marquisette. Serving as bridesmaids, Joan Cesafsky wore a gown of pink taffeta and marquisette, and Mrs. Benedict Jarocki was attired in a yellow gown. All carried bouquets of asters, carnations and pink roses.

The bride’s mother wore a two piece dress suit of navy blue and the groom’s mother wore a navy blue dress. Both mothers were corsages of pink roses.

Wearing a chiffon marquisette gown and carrying a basket of pink sweetheart roses and baby breath, Caroline Pietrzak acted as flower girl for her sister’s wedding.

Little Johnny Romanowicz, attired in an all white suit, was ring bearer. He carried a sweetheart pillow with three pink sweetheart roses in the center.

Ted Pietrzak, brother of the bride, was best man and Bob Olsen and Benedict Jarocki acted as ushers.

A reception was held at St. Hedwig’s Parish Hall.

The couple left for a wedding trip to Wis. Dells resort region and will make their home on the groom’s farm near Thorp.
