Artac, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
(Silver - 27 April 1971)
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Artac will observe their
25th wedding anniversary Sunday with the 8:30 Mass at Holy Family Catholic
Church at Willard. Rev. Michael Mertens will officiate.
Frank Artac and
Mary Gosar were married on April 27, 1946 at Holy Family Catholic Church,
Willard. Rev. Raphael Stragisher officiated. Attendants were Ludwig Artac and
Tony Gosar, Mrs. Ignatz Sladich and Lorreta Koncan. They lived on a farm near
Greenwood where Mr. Artac was engaged in wiring and plumbing. Later they
purchased a store in Greenwood which they still operate.
They have four
children: Mrs. John (Frances) Bailen of Milwaukee, Bernard, who was recently
discharged from the army at Fort Bliss, Tex., Lawrence, who is with the army in
Vietnam, and Mary Ann, who is employed at Thorp. They also have two
grandchildren.
An open house and dance will be held on April 24 at the
Legion Hall in Greenwood.

and Donna Thiene, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ruzic and family, Cedarburg;
Albert Flick, Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Martens, Junction City; Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Artac and family, Osseo; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Jr., Neillsville;
Norman Harmes, Loyal; Byron Harmes, Independence, Fred, Steve and Larry.
Hostesses for the occasion were their four children. An anniversary cake made by
Mrs. Robert Susa decorated the table.
