Klettner, Elaine (Marriage - 22 Apr. 1941)
On Tuesday afternoon, at two o’clock Miss Elaine Klettner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Klettner, became the bride of Archie Melvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Melvin, in a simple civil ceremony performed by Judge Frank P. Roegner in Wausau.
For her marriage the bride wore a floor length gown of pink chiffon with pink and blue flower trim. She wore a pink shoulder length veil fastened to a floral headband and a gardenia shoulder corsage.
Miss Lillian Kleinman was the bride’s only attendant. She was gowned like the bride in a pale blue ensemble.
Leo Underwood of Dorchester attended the groom.
After the bridal supper which was served at the home of the bride’s parents to the immediate families the bridal couple received the congratulations of their friends at a wedding dance held at the armory.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin are at home to their friends at the James Melvin place east on Highway 29. Mr. Melvin is engaged in the trucking business.
