Mott, Sp 5 Kenneth (Military Notes - 1971)

Sp 5 Kenneth Mott, son of Mrs. Alvin Mott, received second and third degree burns on his back, legs and arms in a helicopter crash April 2 in Vietnam. The [pilot was killed in the crash, but Sp 5 Mott, a flight engineer, managed to crawl from the downed craft and escaped before the fuel tanks exploded.

He was hospitalized for a time with his injuries and is now recuperating at his base camp.
