Lanza, Diane M. (Marriage - 24 April 1971)
Miss
Diane M. Lanza was given in marriage by her father to Phillip A. Wagner during a
10 a.m. ceremony Saturday, April 24, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in New
Britain, Conn. Father D’Aprile officiated.
Parents of the bride are Mr.
and Mrs. Sebastian Lanza of New Britain. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Wagner, Sr., of Rt. 2 Neillsville.
The wedding dinner and reception
were scheduled immediately after the ceremony in the Knights of Columbus Hall in
Newington, Conn. The new Mrs. Wagner is a 1970 graduate of the Central
Connecticut State College and has been employed in Hartford, Conn. Her husband
is a 1964 graduate of Neillsville High School and is a second class petty
officer in electronic navigation aboard the Polaris Submarine U. S. S. Thomas
Jefferson. He graduated from the U. S. Naval Guided Missile Schools A & C in Dam
Neck, Va. His submarine base is at New London, Conn., where the couple will make
their home. Wagner has served in the Navy for five years.
Bermuda is the
couple’s honeymoon locale.
Those who attended the wedding from this area
were the groom’s mother, Mrs. Fred Wagner, Sr., a brother, Richard Wagner and
and his sister, Mrs. Joyce Kuzjak.
