Miss Sylvia Ciolkosz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciolkosz of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Louis Przybylski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed V. Przybylski, Thorp, in a ceremony performed by Rev. Francis Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Church at 10 o’clock on Saturday, Oct. 6, 1951.
The bride was beautifully gowned in imported Chantilly lace over satin demurely throated with Peter Pan collar with flowing skirt and train, a satin half bonnet trimmed with lace orange blossoms held her illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of white pompons and stephanotis centered with a deep orchid. Her gift from the groom was a crystal rosary.
The bridesmaids wore shrimp color lace and faille frocks with gauntlets and wore lace tiaras to match their gowns; Bernice Przybylski, Delores Ciolkosz, Shirley Cieslik and Helen Ratajczyk, who attended the bride, carried yellow pompons and talisman roses on a heart form lined with ribbon to match their gowns. Their gifts from the bride were rhinestone bracelets.
The maid of honor was Marlene Ciolkosz, sister of the bride, and she wore peacock blue and gauntlets and lace tiara to match her gown. She carried yellow pompons and talisman roses on a heart form lined with ribbon to match her gown.
Little Janice Healy, niece of the bride, served as flower girl. Her gown also was of peacock blue and she carried a basket of yellow pompons and talisman roses. Her gift from the bride was a gold necklace.
The best man was Ted Pietrzak. Ushers included Jim Smoczyk, Edward Dobrzynski and Nick Jarocki. All were attired in tuxedoes.
The bride’s mother wore a corsage of talisman roses with her plum color frock, while the groom’s mother chose cocoa brown for her costume, also wearing a corsage of talisman roses.
Reception was held at St. Hedwig’s Church Hall.
Upon returning from their wedding trip the couple will reside in Sheboygan.
