Mike Symbal who has been in poor health for some time passed away at his home on Sunday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Skwierczynski and son left for their home in Chicago on Sunday, after spending two weeks with relatives and friends.

The following that helped little Debbie Ebben celebrate her first birthday on Sunday afternoon at her home in Thorp were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olichwier and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Slowiak and family, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Slowiak and daughter Dorothy and son Raymond, Misses Helen Slowiak and Yvonne Shunk and Mrs. Clar Ebben and family.

Noah Chick of Chicago, spent a few days with his cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olichwier and family and with other relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Jell Kot and son spent a few days with relatives and friends here.

Joe Leja called on Ed Olichwier on Thursday evening.

Miss Louise Burgan spent Sunday with Miss Violet Witkus.
