Duellman, Henry H. (9 May 1881 - 21 Nov. 1961)

Funeral services for Henry H. Duellman of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, age 80, were held in St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford Saturday morning, Rev. Raymond G. Schulz officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. He died at his home in Abbotsford November 21st.

Mr. Duellman was born on May 9, 1881, in Buffalo county and received his education there. He farmed in Buffalo county and in the Dorchester, Marshfield and Colby areas and then owned and operated a tavern in Abbotsford until 1947 when he retired.

He was married in 1904 at Hartland to the former Mary Thorne who died in 1937. His second marriage was to the former Vivian Yeager at Abbotsford in 1939. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic church and a former member of the Dorchester school board.

Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Bernard Klinkhamer and Mrs. Oscar Seidel of Abbotsford, Mrs. Leonard Biessel of Ramsay, Mich., and Mrs. Herbert Hollman of Oregon; five sons, Arnold of Tomahawk, Matt of Stetsonville, Frank of Dorchester, Edward of Rhinelander and Paul of Detroit; 57 grand children, eight great grand children and a sister, Mrs. Ferdinand G. Schettler of Arcadia. A son, four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
