Laib, Karlene Marie (Marriage - 24 April 1971)

Miss Karlene Marie Laib, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Laib, Sr., of Rt. 1 Willard, and Roy Samuel Heron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Herron of Rt. 1 Neillsville, were married Saturday, April 24. The 2:30 p.m. ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Michael Mertens in Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard.

The bride wore a long-sleeved, lace gown fashioned with three tiers of lace on a hooped skirt. She had a long mantilla veil and carried a bouquet of blue carnations and white roses.

Miss Debra Laib, sister of the bride, was maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Herbert Laib, Jr., and Miss Beverly Bayuk. The attendants wore blue chiffon dresses with long sleeves and carried mixed bouquets.

Dave Herron, brother of the groom, was bestman. Groomsmen were Herbert Laib, Jr., and James Zschernitz.

Since returning from a honeymoon the newlyweds are residing in Neillsville where they are both employed.
