Schultz, Mary Gertrude (20 January 1880–1951)
Mrs. Martin Schultz, 70, died on Sunday afternoon at the Neillsville Hospital. The body lay in state at the Bergemann Funeral Home where a general rosary was held at 8 o’clock on Tuesday evening.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at 9 o’clock from St. John’s Catholic Church at Fairchild with the Rev. Carl A. Wohlmuth officiating. Interment was made in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Schultz nee Mary Gertrude Kuboski was born January 20, 1880, at Humbird, to Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Kuboski. She spent the greater part of her life in the vicinity of Fairchild. On April 15, 1901, she was married to Martin Schultz. They lived on a farm near Fairchild for 42 years and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in April of this year. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Andrew Schultz of Racine, and Mrs. John Matysik of Eau Claire, three brothers, Peter Kuboski, Steve Kuboski and John Bell, all of Humbird, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Freward, of Oconto.
