Youker, Oscar Goger (26 December 1870 - 29 May 1951)

Oscar Goger Youker, age 81, died on Sunday evening at the home of his sister, Mrs. (Minnie) Manskee, at Watertown, Wis.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at two o’clock at the Georgas Funeral Home with Rev. R. Banks Blocher officiating. Interment will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mr. Youker was born on December 26, 1870, at Neillsville to Albert and Hanna Beyer Youker. He was a Clark County resident for 75 years. When a young man he was employed by the spoke factory and the light and power company, and later years he was employed as a gardener.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. (Minnie) Carl Oscar Manskee, of Watertown. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services wee conducted for Oscar Youker on Thursday at two o’clock from the Georgas Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Elliot Warlum, William Duge, Frank Knoop, Louis Duge, William Wagner and Gust Holtz.

Flower ladies included Mrs. Arnold Yankee, Mrs. Alvina Warlum, and Miss Emma Karnitz. Mrs. Donald Schultz sang two selections, accompanied by Mrs. Jess Scott.

Persons from out of town attending the rites were Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Minnie) Oscar Manskee of Watertown, Ulrich M. Wettstein and William Wettstein of Sparta, and Clara Knoop of Marshfield.
